The Lutheran Homes Society is a not-for-profit, Christian Organization concerned with the on-going task of serving the elderly. It is because of the involvement of hundreds of friends who have given of their time, talent and treasure that Lutheran Homes has been able to continue in this spirit of Christ. Lutheran Homes will remain dependent on the gifts from old and new friends so that our visions today will become realities of tomorrow.

One of those visions is a fully funded Chaplaincy Endowment Fund, which has been set up to ensure that Lutheran Homes will always employ a full-time Chaplain. The goal to permantley endow the fund is $800,000.

There are a number of ways in which you can support this fund or Lutheran Homes in general, such as:

A Cash Gift is an immediate means of making a difference.
A Remembrance Gift is a great way to recognize a special person or occasion.
Stocks or Bonds are gifts recognized at their current market value and eliminate the capital gains tax.
A gift of Life Insurance can be a good way to remember a charitable organization for their service.
A Charitable Trust can be established by contacting your attorney or financial planner for exact details.
A Bequest is a gift included as a provision in your will or codicil. It can be specific, restricted, residual or contingent in nature.
A Life Estate Agreement allows you to transfer title to a residence or farm and retain the right to live there and use the real estate for your life. You are entitled to any income and are responsible for the upkeep. A tax deduction is available in the year of the gift.
